Since 2000, with the advent of ecologically conscious building awareness, MacCann & Byrne have dedicated themselves to the genesis and development of the sustainable building industry.

Sourcing only the highest quality sustainable building products for the Irish Market, in 2004, MacCann & Byrne developed a separate part of their group dedicated wholly to the concept of Ecological Building. Ecological Building Systems, the One-Stop-Shop for Sustainable Building was launched as a simple but quality assured concept.

Ecological Building Systems is about supporting and supplying the Irish and UK market with both the technical know how and quality tried and tested product for sustainable building industry. Currently the main focus is on the supply of airtight systems and thermal and acoustic insulation products. However, they are also happy to recommend other suppliers and manufacturers for other aspects when developing a sustainable building.
